Ramat Hadar Hill

On January 2017 the municipality of Haifa began the deforestation of what was known as the last natural open space in Ramat Hadar neighborhood, between the streets Leon Blum, Wingate and Hannah Senesh. The construction works are done without the required legal permits in order to force future decisions in the favor of construction with no nature preservation. Local residents are now fighting for environmental justice and for corrective administration measures within the authorities.
