Despite the many efforts made to maintain the trails in the Haifa area, most of them are dense, thorny, and challenging. Before the hike, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the trail’s layout and bring: water, appropriate clothing for an adventurous hike, a map (both digital and printed), and protection from the scorching sun’s rays in all seasons.
The Society for the Protection of Nature has published a Hebrew booklet of hiking trails in Haifa that were marked until the year 2012.
